Frequent Flyer Program
Almost every airline comes up with programs for their loyal passengers, commonly known as frequent flyer programs. We have a regular flyer program named Lifemile.
Lifemile is a three-tier program that includes Gold, Silver, and Diamond, covering all Avianca Airlines' associated airlines. Joining this program is entirely free. It doesn't require any charges. Passengers willing to join the program can register for free. Once you become a member of this program, you can earn miles by traveling with Avianca Airlines, and later, you can redeem your earned miles. Passengers can use these earned miles with Avianca's subsidiary airlines.

Avianca Airlines Frequent Flyers:
Silver Elite LifeMiles- You must earn a minimum of 25000 miles with the Star Alliance member and 9000 on Avianca Air with 30 segments.
Gold Elite LifeMiles-minimum 16000 earned miles on Avianca with 50 segments. For Star Alliance, 45,000 miles within a year
Diamond Elite Lifemiles-maximum 75,000 miles on Star Alliance members and 30000 miles on Avianca with 85 segments. Miles are valid for 12 months, and the more you fly with Avianca, the more you will collect the Lifemiles.
Note: Avianca Airlines is associated with eight airlines as an active Star Alliance member. Thus, Avianca's frequent flyer program, Lifemile, will benefit all the partner airlines of Avianca Airlines.
Advantages of Lifemiles
By redeeming your earned miles, you can access Avianca’s VIP lounge, Diamond lounges only in Bogota, third-party VIP lounges, priority boarding for Group A, check-in, baggage priority, extra checked baggage, and baggage allowance for 23 kg.

Avianca TACA
Avianca Airlines merged with TACA in 2009. As a result, AviancaTaca Holdings became the second-largest locale in its career, with 129 airships and flights serving 102 destinations. In 2019, Avianca will replace the Fokker 50 and Fokker 100 with more updated aircraft with fewer or almost 100 seats.
The flights started their services from February 2011 to April 2011.
Star Alliance
Avianca declared its separation from its merger partner TACA and announced it would be utterly solo in 2012.
TACA became a codeshare partner of United Airlines in 2006.
Avianca and TACA formally acknowledged the Star Alliance on June 21, 2012.
